The 'Start to Finish' Kitchen Fitting Process
1. Prior to Fitting.
Once you have chosen your new Kitchen, and contacted me, I will visit your property and conduct a Survey. I do this because quite often a 'Designer' will not appreciate the limitations of the area you have chosen to install your Kitchen, and as a time served tradesman I can see the problems (if there are any) prior to your 'Fit Week.' All I require at this stage are the detailed (and fully dimensioned) plans that your 'Designer' will have already given to you . If any works are necessary prior to your kitchen being fitted (re routing services such as Gas, water and electricity), I am happy to recommend only the Time Served Tradesmen that I trust, and whose work & competency I can testify to. Once the survey is complete, I will submit a fixed price for the works that we have agreed, and offer you a selection of fitting dates.
2. Fitting. Following my Survey, and once you have agreed a delivery date with your supplier, it is time for me to install your new kitchen. One week is generally long enough to fit most kitchens, and unless you (the Client) have any special requirements, I begin work at 8am and finish at 6pm (Mainly due to Environmental Laws (Noise etc)). Whilst I am happy to work around any other tradesmen that may be working in your home, ideally I ask that clients grant me sole access to the kitchen area for the week, and that it is empty of your furniture where possible. I also encourage clients to offer feedback throughout the fit, so that ALL of your requirements are met and that if you wish to make adjustments to the original layout, we can do so.
3. Post Fitting. My workmanship carries a 100% guarantee, and should a problem develop over time, due to my workmanship, I will return to your home and rectify the problem at my own expense, and at time that is convenient to you, the client. As a result of this guarantee, a high percentage of my business is from repeat customers and referrals in the Manchester Area.
My approach is based on the belief that the clients' needs are the ONLY important factor, and I committed to meeting those needs. Whilst I am based in Manchester, I am happy to consider projects further afield.
